Week 13 – Animals
This weeks theme is animals, this might be one of your pets, a favourite animal, or just an ATC containing animals. I can’t wait to see what you come up with.
Here is mums’s ATC’s, she has focused on her favourite animal. The Elephant. She loves them so much, she has statues everywhere, when I saw this set of stamps for sale I had to buy it for her.
Mum has glimmermisted the background, then stamped it and used bling in the centres. Stamped the elephant and foam mounted him. Used a glaze pen for his blanket eye and head cover.
Here is my ATC. It’s not my favourite animal, but the idea came to me and I went with it. I love this stamp set, it was given to my by Linda, and I hadn’t had a chance to use it. I stamped the bird and the house and cut them out. The house I also stamped on the background, so I didn’t have to cut the string out.
For the background, I used scrap paper that I’d previously cut the flourishes out from. I sprayed my ATC back with adhesive, attached the scrap paper, I let it dry for a little bit before dusting on pearl ex .
This week there will be a prize given as we are 1/4 through the year :O

Two beauties!
Sorry it’s taken a few days to get these lovely ATC’s up. This is the third (and hopefully last) new computer since Jan, and each time I have to download and set up Live Writer. Which isn’t hard, just annoying ;p
We’ve received two lovely entries. I fear the challenge is challenging a few of us lol.
This lovely is from Leesa. I am loving the flowers with stickles! That owl is so cute too! Well done Leesa.
Here is a lovely entry from Marg. The background to this is acrylic painted stitch'n'tear. It looks great Marg!
Tomorrow’s another new topic. Time for me to get creating~!

Week 12 - Celebrate Autumn
Who would think it's autumn already, with the weather the way it is all around Australia!
So this week is to celebrate Autumn. You don't have to use leaves as a theme, you can just use the autumnal colours as you choose.
This is De's ATC for this week. De has chosen the traditional autumn leaf, as one of her favourite things is the way trees change in Autumn.
She has used home made glimmer mists for the background colours, a Tim Holtz script stamp. The Autumn leaf was stamped using Tim Holtz Distress inks to colour the stamp, the edge was then outlined with Glaze ink, and the leaf was matted on brown cardstock, showing just a very fine edge.
Here is my ATC. I have used red, orange and yellow reinkers to paint dictionary paper. I have stamped several of the same image on the paper and then torn them. Recreating the image with the pieces of paper overlapping. It hasn’t turned out like I thought it might, but it’s ok none the less :o) I also added some leaves around the edge to give it more an autumn feel.
Look forward to seeing the autumn entries, just as much as I look forward to the weather getting cooler!!

Week 11 - Green
This week it’s green for St Pats. You can make it Irish theme if you want, but all we’d like to see is lots and lots of green.
Mum has done a monochromatic green card. She has used a super shiny card stock that unfortunately didn’t photograph well. She has used bling and kindyglitz, ribbon and punchies.
Here is my card. I used home made glimmer sprays, a green bingo card and a green sewing machines. I added a little green bling and also used the kindygiltz.
Here is Marla’s prize from Valentines day. Hope you enjoy it Marla.

Week 10 – A man in your life
Wow can you believe we are already 10 weeks into this year? They just seem to be flying along.
I am so happy to see we are still getting participants!! It does get hard to keep up at times, but remember you can always skip a week if you need to and catch up the following.
I’ve had been doing well with my diary, but well I am a fair way behind writing it up lol. So I think I’ll cover the highlights lol.
This weeks topic is a man in your life. This can be past or present.
Mum’s ATC is of her Dad, Percival. I love it. I love the colours, the embellishments, everything. It’s slightly vintage but not overly. Well done mum!
Here is my ATC. I have used alcohol inks on sticky backed metal tape. Let that dry then ran it through the cuttlebug. I then sanded it. Around the picture I added more tape. I also put 2 layers of tape on cardstock and then wrote Uncle Vic. I wiped the pen off, put alcohol ink over that and then sanded it back. I dinted up the heart brad and added a little alcohol ink to it and also sanded it back.
Pink and Black Beauties
Here we have 3 great ATC’s.
Our first lovely card is from Leesa. Isn’t it great? I love everything, but I especially love that measuring tape! Well done on keeping to just Pink and Black!!
This is super cute Margaret!! Well done! I love your itty bitty spider :)
Last but not least is from Linda. Great idea using the doily as a mask. I love that cupcake! Well done :)
