Week 51 - Christmas Theme or Red & Green with gold or Silver

Well we really are creatures of habit. My routine was messed up last week, consequently I completely forgot about Friday! My humble apologies.
This week is a Christmas Theme, or if Christmas is not your thing, do an ATC in Red and Green with Gold or Silver.
My ATC is inspired by one on Flickr by tammybeck. The background is a Darkroom Door Stamp, the wreath is punched flowers, bird is stamped with a Prima Stamp. The gold used is a Gold pen.

Week 50 - Asian Theme

Once again, many apologies..... I do have an excuse for being late this week, it's not just laziness!
Just as well we are up to week 50, the way my promptness record has been lately! Only 2 weeks to go.
This week is an Asian theme, interpret that as you will.
My simple card is black cardstock background, some gold Asian themed 3D stickers, and a handmade flower (.... I am into making my own flowers at the moment LOL)

Week 49 - Try your hand at a Zetti ATC.

Sorry to be late once again! Could have posted earlier today, but we have had thunderstorms, so computer has been off.
This is my interpretation of a Zetti card. I drew all the components except the face, which was cut from a stamped image. Oh! and the flower was punched. Each piece was individually cut and glued. Bit of fun I thought!

Week 48 - Colour Challenge - Silver, Purple and Green

This week is a colour challenge, using the colours Silver, Purple and Green. As usual you can use a small amount of another colour as I have with the little bit of yellow,
I have a silver scrap booking paper for the background, the waterlily and leaf have been coloured with sparkly gel pens (not that you can see the sparkle in the scan LOL). The little chipboard frogs have been done with green Opals.

Week 47 - This week's ATC is a Boy one

And here is my very simple (but I think cute!) little boy.
The image I found on the net which I printed and cut out, and the background is simply strips of different widths of cardstock, stuck on a piece of black cardstock .... trying to resemble a Mexican blanket. I wrote the word "Hola!" (Hello) in the top corner... and that was it.

Week 46 - It's all about Sea Life

This week's theme is Sea life. Interpret it as you will... can be fish, mermaids, sea horses, shells... or anything else you can think of to fit the theme!
My ATC has 2 little chipboard fish, which have been covered with Opals. One has a little flower gem inserted in the Opals. Some stuff called "Moss" for the seaweed, 2 punched and painted punchies, and some punched Lace at the to were added to the card and the finishing touch was the 2 thought bubbles.

Week 45 - Flowers

This week the theme is a simple one.... Flowers. I have done 2 as I wanted to try the alcohol inks sunflowers which I had seen on http://stampersquest.com/2010/10/31/alcohol-ink-sunflowers/
The other card is a combination of stamping and some inked chipboard flower shapes. The centres of the flowers are a combination of bling and some things called Dew Drops. Enjoy!

Week 43 - Hallowe'en

This week it's Hallowe'en, hope you are all not sick of the subject yet, if you are you can just do something in the colours orange and black!
The card I have done is very simple It' s an image of a little girl in a witch's hat, holding a cat, her hat has a bling embellishment. Beside her is a punched out strip if orange flowers (the punch is my latest purchase!) Boo is printed on a small strip, and an image of a bat and moon are in the top corner.

Week 42 - Create a Girly ATC

Here is my example for week 42.
I have stamped the background with a bit of the Darkroom door Music stamp, a script stamp, plus a definition (Blossom) stamp from Stampin up. a strip of pink ribbon runs down the left hand side The little girl on the phone is a fussy cut, her thought bubble is punched from a piece of patterned paper (it is hard to see the butterfly in the circle in the scan), and 3 small pink blings join the bubble to the girl. Busy girl is printed on a scrap of pink cardstock.

Week 41- Cheers!

So sorry I am running late this week, but I was away in Melbourne all last week, and only got home on Tuesday.... consequently everything is running behind!
This week it is time to add a drink or two to your ATC. Now, it doesn't have to be alcoholic. It can be soft drinks (soda) , tea/coffee, or whatever takes your fancy.... even aqua pura!
My ATC is a simple one.... some stamped words and marks from the edge of the stamp pad form the background. I stamped and fussy cut the champagne flute image, which was coloured in with a glitter gel pen. Up in the corner 2 yellow flowers, with bling flower centres and glitter gel pen edges. ATC edge was inked. Inks used were Tim Holtz Distress inks Fired Brick and Walnut Stain.

Week 40 – Add an Inchie (or 2) to your ATC

spring has sprung

This week we are adding one (or more) inchies to  your ATC. Inchies, for anyone who may not know, are miniature  “works of art” one inch x 1 inch square, it can be as simple or as complicated as you feel confident in doing. A simple stamping, or a tiny image on some patterned paper, or whatever you are comfortable doing.

My ATC has a spring theme, as per my latest embossing folder (from Crafty Concepts), which has been tinted with Tim Holtz distressing inks in various colours. The words “Spring has Sprung” are down one side. The inchie is a Bee, with the words “Buzz” and “Busy” on it. All edges have been inked with Timber Brown Stazon.

Week 39 - Use some Newspaper and some Paint

Well we've done it again! Run late I, I mean. My ATC was ready last evening, but I was too tired to add it to the blog.
You can do as I did and use your newspaper as background and then use paint on the stamped image, you can paint directly on the news paper, or you could even punch out shapes and paint them..... possibilities are endless!
As I said, my ATC has newspaper as the background, I then stamped a butterfly on s scrap of patterned paper, which I then painted with Twinkling H2Os. I dotted around the wings with Glaze Pens. The edges were inked with Timber Brown Stazon, and 2 gold embellishments topped with bling finished my ATC

Week 38 - Shabby Chic

We only have 14 weeks of this weekly ATC Challenge left to go.... so if you want to catch up, you'll have to get a wriggle on :)
This week the theme is Shabby Chic.
Both Elizabeth & I like Shabby Chic, so I hope you do too.
Here is my ATC..... I have used a page from an old book as the background, image of a woman, a Tim Holtz Fragment with a piece of 7 Gypsies music paper behind it, brown threads, a couple of beads, some ribbon and four small paper flowers sprayed with Glimmer Mist. The word Mesmerise also sprayed with Glimmer Mist finishes my offering.

Week 35 – Use paint

This weeks challenge is to use paint on your ATC.

Mum has painted these cute little flowers, afterwards she sprayed the whole ATC with a little glimmermist so it didn’t look so stark.

Week 35
Here is my ATC, I put a few spots of paint on a brayer and rolled it over my ATC to get this background. I then added a DRD photochip and under that I layered lace. I added the words “colour my world” which I got from a dictionary.
Colour my World

  Timeless
Here is mum’s ATC'. I love the background it’s just lovely. It’s collaged dictionary paper that has used the baking paper technique. She has added a clock that has been fussy cut and several old watch parts.
My last two cards will get made asap, I’ve been up in Brissy for the last week.
Can’t wait to see what you girls make!

Week 33 - The love of Chocolate!

This week's challenge is close to many of our hearts! It is an ATC to celebrate the love of Chocolate.
Here is my offering for your fat free enjoyment LOL.
I have used Kaiser's "Chocolate Drops" paper for the background, a scrap of print in the corner, a lushous chocolate image on top and one of my favorite sayings completes this ATC.

I'm late!

This is my ATC for my least favorite colour. I like all colours really, but I use grays least of all, so guess that's my least favorite.
This ATC is done mainly in pale and charcoal gray, using my favorite animal stamp! Another stamp above the elephant, some gold strip, silver bling and handwriting in black pen is about all.
