Newspaper and Paint
Here is my ATC for this weeks challenge. I glued random spots on the ATC and adhered the newspaper, I let that dry and then ripped up what hadn’t been stuck down. I used the nestablities to make scalloped circles out of newspaper which I then painted with some white acrylic paint, let that dry and then went over the lot with h2o’s. When that dried I wiped over with a damp towel to remove h2o’s off the acrylic paint. Scrunched the circles and then put a brad in the centre.
Can’t wait to see what you do for this weeks theme!

Week 39 - Use some Newspaper and some Paint
Well we've done it again! Run late I, I mean. My ATC was ready last evening, but I was too tired to add it to the blog.
You can do as I did and use your newspaper as background and then use paint on the stamped image, you can paint directly on the news paper, or you could even punch out shapes and paint them..... possibilities are endless!
As I said, my ATC has newspaper as the background, I then stamped a butterfly on s scrap of patterned paper, which I then painted with Twinkling H2Os. I dotted around the wings with Glaze Pens. The edges were inked with Timber Brown Stazon, and 2 gold embellishments topped with bling finished my ATC

Shabby Chic
Late again :O
Here is my Shabby Chic ATC, I’ve stamped the chandelier with versa mark and embossed it with distress embossing powders. the background I stamped with a text stamp, but then went over the whole card with brown, so it’s a little hard to see. I stamped the bird on some acetate and used brads to place it on the card.
Here is Tracey’s lovely Shabby Chic ATC. Tracey’s used a mask for the butterflies at the back, she has also used mesh and beads. Great Job Tracey!

Week 38 - Shabby Chic
We only have 14 weeks of this weekly ATC Challenge left to go.... so if you want to catch up, you'll have to get a wriggle on :)
This week the theme is Shabby Chic.
Both Elizabeth & I like Shabby Chic, so I hope you do too.
Here is my ATC..... I have used a page from an old book as the background, image of a woman, a Tim Holtz Fragment with a piece of 7 Gypsies music paper behind it, brown threads, a couple of beads, some ribbon and four small paper flowers sprayed with Glimmer Mist. The word Mesmerise also sprayed with Glimmer Mist finishes my offering.
The ultimate
Here is Justine’s week 35 using paint. She’s covered a clothing tag with gesso and made textures with a fork. Painting over it with the kids art supplies (love that!!) It looks really cool Justine, well done!

Week 37- Hidden folders, flaps or pockets
Week 37, only 15 more weeks to go! Are you wondering what might be planned for next year? LOL
This week your Weekly ATC should contain a hidden element.... a folder, a flap or a pocket. The theme is entirely up to you. This is my version, Elizabeth will post hers later. The images above are firstly the tag type insert and secondly the ATC with the insert in place.
