Week 9 – Colour Challenge with bling!
This week is a colour combo challenge which must also contain bling. Your allowed colours are Pink and Black.
Here is mum’s card she has used some Bella diecut butterflies, 3 lovely bling flowers, a clear glaze pen to draw the stems. The fancy edges are made with a punch and the punch outs were painted over because they looked too light.
Here is my ATC, I found this theme hard. I don’t work with either colour often :O I stamped out the Tim Holtz clowns and Cirque stamp (word one was embossed with distressing embossing powder) I placed a strip of bling at the top and one in the middle of the ATC on the embossed cardstock (embossed with my new folder that I bought with birthday voucher from my best mate). Added the ribbon and brad for a little extra effect.
Good luck with this challenge. I hope to see lots of entries!!

Great Techniques!
It has been a busy topsy-turvy week this week! Firstly, Elizabeth was away in Queensland on a mini break, and didn’t get home till the Monday. As things began to settle down when along came Wednesday! In the afternoon, Elizabeth her partner Michael, and I were in my car, driving to the local scrap-book shop. We were ploughed into from behind by a woman driver. Just minor injuries to us, but my car was written off. :( So things are seriously behind …. but enough of that
Now to this week’s lovely ATCs
First is Leesa’s cute owl ATC. Such soft background colours….. done with alcohol inks. Leesa has put details of how to make those sweet flowers and that really great branch on her blogsite. I am going to try them soon!
Next we have this lovely ATC from Margaret. Margaret has use what is one of my favourite techniques which is collage. I love the butterfly covering the lady’s modesty!
The third one is Marla’s really cool ATC. She has achieved the kaleidoscope effect by using Photoshop elements. This was done with one photo of a pelican, you can read all about it in Marla’s email to the group.
Last but not least is Chelle’s entry. Her creative flair at the moment is Motivational ATC’s. I am loving the quote!! I (Liz) need it this week!!

Week 8- Your Favourite Technique/s
This week is all about the technique or techniques you love doing! Maybe you like alcohol inks, or watercolour pencils, stamping, or what about quilling? This is your week to shine, maybe you can describe what you have done, so the rest of us can have a go too.
I couldn’t choose just one, so I did four! I did the baking paper technique (we use baking paper rather than the craft sheet) (watch video from 1.55), stamping, inking and paper tearing.
Elizabeth used grunging, inking and stamping, she also used a home made glimmer mist type spray.
This weeks winner, who is getting a little ‘love’ is Marla, Michael picked your name out.Elizabeth will organise some goodies when she get home from Brisbane.
Great job on all those love cards ladies, I promise no more romance themes for a LONG time!!!!

Sweet, Sweet Love
The first bit of sweet love is from Marla. Marla has placed a cherub on a cuttlebug background, and used silver embellishments
This next bit of love is from Sam. Sam has again used a cuttlebug background for her tag shaped ATC. A flower decorated with Sam’s signature “stickles” is the centrepiece. Linda has made this lovely ATC with the arched doorway and two cute little love-birds
Linda’s Home
This is Linda’s ATC, isn’t it grand? The two views are her front and back view, the house is actually a drawing of their home.
Dragonfly Dream
Here is Linda’s lovely Pagemap from week 6. It feels very oriental to me. Love those papers, and the little flower punchouts are very cute!

Love these ATC’s!
Our fist ATC is from Leesa, I love the way you’ve layered your flowers!! Very effective. I really like that you’ve been using your Timmy hammer a bit recently. I haven’t got one.. YET :D
Here is the ever lovely Chelle’s creation. I really love that quote it is so beautiful! Just like the card. I love all that pink! Pretty!
Last and definitely not least is Marg’s lovely card. I love the colours, I love how the faces are in the pink but the rest in yellows. The stamping and ribbon are great and I love that little heart! Great Job!
Don’t forget to be eligible for a little ‘love’ of your own just complete this weeks topic before Friday and you’ll have the chance of winning some goodies. No need to have done all of the weeks for this prize ;)

Week 7 – It must be love..
Firstly, apologies for taking all day to get these up. I lost the net last night and then couldn’t even find my camera to get things ready for this morning. Was busy out and about all day (even got some good news that I’ll be holding an ATC class WHOOT!).
Our theme this week is Love/Romance. I have to admit I am a little over the love theme, but how could we not have it?
First up is Mum’s. It is lovely isn’t it? The background is glimmermist over mesh, and then the mesh removed. The heart has been inked with distressing ink with a rubon placed on it. There is a lovely stamp on the side. The U R Loved is also a rubon.
Here is my love ATC. I’ve used some Heidi Grace papers, I did various things to spice it up, crackle paint around the edges, perfect pearls, kindyglitz and distress stickles on the hearts and leaves. I used a clear frame for that lovely vintage image and added the heart (Heidi Grace) which I put smooch ink and distress stickles on.
I will be adding a rubon down the bottom, but didn’t know where the one I want was (HAHA!)
Hope that you are able to squeeze out just a little more romance. Cant’t wait to see what is done. There may even be a little love go out for some lucky person who completes this challenge ;)
Below is Tammy’s goodies that went postal this week.

Week 6 – PageMap Challenge
Mum has pretty much followed the page map. Instead of Zigzag she’s used the ribbon. Cute ATC and I love that frangipani.
This is my ATC. I’ve stamped the hash pattern, stamped the dots in versamark then added clear embossing powder. Went over that in black. Stamped the lady and the phrase on white cardstock (altered the phrase one) The ATC back was one I’d make ages ago for a zetti swap. I used home made glimmer mists.
Hope you like the challenge this week! Hope to see more lovely entries :o)

+ 3 homes = a full house?
We’ve already received 3 lovely entries this week.
Please welcome New player Justine. Justine has used mists on the base of her card. Some great stamping for her frame. I love that key!! I am guessing it’s a die cut or maybe grungeboard. Very nice!
Leesa has made this cute little ATC I just love the house embellishment! The whole piecing of papers to make a scene is just great!! Well done Leesa.
Our last one to show you (for the moment I hope) is from Tammy. Tammy has drawn this great little scene!! I love it Tammy. That’s one awesome sun. Loving that little mail box too, too cute :)
